Evening all,
We are planning on booking a last minute holiday for October half term and ideally we want to go somewhere we have never been before. Obviously we will be dictated by availability so I’ll be keeping my eye out for any deals that come along. Top of our wish list is Sardinia so I was wondering if anyone has been before? Any other recommendations welcome - somewhere relatively quiet and hopefully still warm! But not Turkey!!

Definitely looks the right sort of place, will add to the list 😎

It really is lovely. Restaurants along the beach and the harbour and some fabulous hotels.

I think there are a couple of late night bars but they're in a complex at the back of the resort and there's the option of bus/taxi/boat to Puerto Rico if you want something more lively.

Can only second Puerto Mogan we have visited many times lovely place we always go S/C as the eating out really good highly recommend the Irish Tavern which is a small restaurant not a pub round the marina.

We were last there in March its a very relaxed gentle place - no fast food/pubs/night clubs.

Is that the one with the huge cheesecakes? I remember Mrs F and the kids saying "next time we'll share one" 🙂

Yes my wife's idea of an ideal lunch paired with a pink gin and a afternoon snooze on the roof terrace on one of the apartments round the marina you can rent. 😀

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
