Leeds Bradford: Freebird Airlines Flights, New Routes & Schedule Updates

TUI holidays have at last confirmed online that Freebird will operate their 4 weekly flights from LBA to AYT/DLM from late May. We have known on here for a while but it’s good to have it finally in writing.

Freebird's new Turkey charter flight programme for TUi from Leeds/Bradford to Antalya & Dalaman for summer 202. All flights been operated by a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.

Wednesdays
FHY0515 = AYT 06:15 – LBA 08:55 / FHY0516 = LBA 09:55 – AYT 16:10 = ops 31/05/23 to 27/09/23
FHY0621 = DLM 17:20 – LBA 19:55 / FHY0622 = LBA 20:55 – DLM 03:05* = ops 24/05/23 to 27/09/23
Sundays
FHY0515 = AYT 06:00 – LBA 08:40 / FHY0516 = LBA 09:40 – AYT 15:55 = ops 28/05/23 to 24/09/23
FHY0621 = DLM 06:05 – LBA 08:40 / FHY0622 = LBA 09:40 – DLM 15:50 = ops 28/05/23 to 27/09/23

Interesting that all flights stop in late September, rather than the usual mid to late October we have come to expect.

I must say, its hard to track as these Freebird's don't show on the LBA ARR/DEP on FR24 but they seem to be operating a good/on time program on behalf of TUI. good to see

Looks like Freebird have lost the 2x weekly Antalya service for summer 2024. As the tour operator whom chartered them this summer TUi will be taking seats on the new 3x weekly Sun Express service.

Freebird might still remain at LBA for summer 2024, As TUi are still to confirm whom will operate its 2x weekly (Mon & Thu) Dalaman charters...

They won't be coming via Manningham Lane in Bradford as I understand there is no such thing as a free bird there!!!!!

Has anyone got access to the ACL summer slot coordination report. .

If so can you confirm if Freebird (FHY) Airbus A320's are doing the TUI charters to Dalaman again this summer with the flight numbers?

I'm only asking the question as heard another Turkish chater Airline may have picked up the contract. Our member @twevsmiff won't be happy seen as it's another Boeing operator.

Think it would be too late for S24 announcement for increased frequencies. Hopefully 2025 we may see more from them?

If I remember correctly next Thursday May 23rd should see the return of Turkish Airline Freebird and it’s Airbus A320’s on the 2x weekly (Mon & Thu) Dalaman -Leeds charter service for TUI.
