Use this prefix for new threads for Birmingham Airport
Definitely cruise related with same day services also announced from GTW & MAN as posted by Jerry.
The route presumably will exist as long as the ships season.

Just arrived in Tenerife having had an interesting flight here via Sunwings. Half of us had boarded the aircraft at BHX when someone pointed out fuel was coming out of one of the wings. So we all had to disembark while they fixed the fault and cleared the split fuel off the runway. We went back to Wetherspoons for another drinkie, and finally took off around 7pm.

Thanks for your work in sorting that data.
I'm not sure if you know, but the forum also has the facility to post data into a table. This can be accessed from the icon bar at the top right of the text window. I've made a little example from your data (you'll need to work out how many rows and columns you need).

It may take a little longer, but it looks good.

the other Sunwing 738 at BHX has flown for over 2 days!! Maybe they don't like the British weather!! :ROFLMAO:

There was a Sunwings aircraft flying from Rhodes to Prague can't remember the reg but found it unusual
Not really relevant to BHX, and I think you'll find it was Smartwings but for completion the flight details are -

Smartwings B737-800 (OK-TSU, TVS2227), departed CFU at 01:40.

This took me all of 1 minute to look up on FR24. Click on CFU, select 'Departures', then 'Load Earlier Flights' and scroll back until you find a departure to PRG.

Simples!

Does anyone know why TOM636 on G-TUIJ to Montego Bay didn't operate today?
As far as I know it's a weekly flight and it's showing on Montego Bay arrivals as on time!
The flight is bookable in August, so I don't think it has been scrubbed

Im guessing tech aircraft, or shortage of crew. Would imagine the flight will depart tomorrow with around a 24 hour delay!!

TUI are having a mare again at BHX

Sunwing B738 C-GOWG hasn't moved since Sunday, and seems to be enjoying sitting on the tarmac at BHX. B738 G-FDZD departed to Hurghada an hour late, got almost as far at Milan, before performing a 360 and diverting to Manchester, with our outbound passengers now spending the night in a hotel! so again will presumable try again tomorrow, another delay over 24 hours! 😞

Gainjet B738 LY-CIN seems to covering for the TUI tech aircraft! 🥵

G-TUIJ shows as a tech fault, ironically 789 G-TUIL posiistioned out to Manchester this morning and operated to Antalya and is due back to BHX late tonight so maybe it will cover subject to crewing or possibly TUIJ will get fixed or they will sub charter something else, who knows!

Information via FR24 and the movementsblog.

TUI still having a horrible time still.I can't help but feel its mostly self inflicted whether it's the airlines chosen, crewing, handling agents or whatever but no lessons seemed to have been learnt from last year. Smacks of cheapest gets the job.

Todays merry-go-round at BHX.

Sunwing 737 C-FFPH positioned in from Toronto presumably to try and resolve problems!
Sunwing C-GOWG did a test flight to/from EMA this morning and todays GetJet departure to Dalaman delayed until tomorrow.

I've no idea what's happening across the rest of the network but it can't be isolated to Birmingham.

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
