Vueling Flights, New Routes & Schedule Updates

I was hoping to see an increase (did it used to be daily?) but very glad to see the route remain, particularly in these uncertain times.

Vueling started 6 Orly-UK routes last autumn, BHX being one.

Looking at their Winter 21/22 to Summer 22 (April onwards) schedule compared i can see:

BHX - down from 3pw to 2pw
EDI - down from 3pw to 2pw
CWL - up from 2pw to 3pw
BFS - was 2pw, unbookable for summer
NCL - remains at 2pw
GLA - remains at 2pw

Interesting that CWL is the only one to see an increase, presumably due to no direct competition.

Talking of Vueling, does anybody know how the ORY service is performing now that we are near normal again after Covid ?

By all means @Brum X

Only posted it in here because I remember BHX frequency being reduced. Have any other UK airports seen frequencies to ORY reduced?

I am not 100% correct but I think most UK airports have been axed all together. However I think Vueling have issues on its Barcelona route as well, citing capacity issues or shortage of aircraft/cabin crew but I know Barcelona has also been reduced from most airports.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
