Alpine Air Beech 1900D (N202UX) is due from Belgrade (BEG) tomorrow at 12:38, before departing to Reykjavik at 13:30. Looking at the aircraft history on FR24, it started it's journey in Johannesburg (HLA) on the 11 Dec.

Just watched on FR24, a Royal Canadian Air Force Airbus CC-150 Polaris (A310, Reg 15003, Fl No CFC4111 ) land at BHX. It's listed on FR24 as Riga (RIX) to Prestwick (PIK), but showing as 'diverting to BHX').
just watched the RCAF land over my house but couldn't get a photo due to the fog.

I'm not sure why it diverted. It got part way across the North Sea before turning south west and heading over Sunderland then turning south for BHX. It didn't go near EDI. Looking at the METAR data, EDI visibility is 10K or more and other aircraft have landed.
Maybe Justin Trudeau fancied a trip to the German market!

Or a Balti, or both!

There appears to be an ATR-42 inbound to BHX from Jonkoping (JKG) in Sweden. No info given on FR24, other than following it's track back to it's point of origin.

RCAF Airbus CC-150 Polaris (A310, Reg 15003, Fl No CFC4111) departed BHX at 16:04 for Trenton (YTR). I wonder if BHX has ever had a flight to there before?

Regular twice daily has got to be the objective with the A321N I would say for BHX bearing in mind Turkish show good flexibility to upgrade according to demand and also the ability to send in lower capacity 737s as and when the demand is lower, but definitely double daily first for me.

A good operater for BHX even more so since they introduced some summer holiday routes

Im sitting on board a jet2 flight waiting to take off for TFS. Security took 1 1/2 hours to clear, presumably due to the building work, then our plane went tech (tyre change apparently). On board now, just waiting for a slot so we can take off. Oh and we saw Troy Deeney and Dion Sanderson (Blues players) at the Wetherspoons- fresh from last nights 3-2 win over Reading. From your live on the spot correspondent Dave Bham 🤣🤣🤣

Would the freight forwarders like having A330 on the route?
Probably a question best answered by our resident freight expert, CL44.. For my twopenn'orth worth, a lot of freight that passes through airports goes as 'belly hold' freight. If an A330 were to be used as a regular service, then I'm sure that freight handlers would be interested, especially with TK's onward connections from IST.

Hope you have a good time in Tenerife, and don't forget to submit a trip report.

The ski season moving into full swing now with EasyJet today having four flights today to Geneva, Jet2 with two to Innsbruck and one to Grenoble and TUI one to Innsbruck. The Ryanair Turin flight properly is ski related also.

EasyJet had three to Geneva yesterday but one apparently was cancelled.

Wouldn't be surprised if Davenham's security delay was down to large numbers of the skiing fraternity and all their accessories they apperently require causing delays going through the scanners. 🙄

In answer to the question raised by Jenny Jet, yes the 330 would be better as this allows a working height of 158 cms to be loaded insted of a maximum height of 112 (ish) cms. Maximum weight would also increase as we don't have to worry about AKH containers and the subsequent restrictions they have. I always remember when CO changed schedule from the 757 to DC10 (way back in time). I had a shipment to go to Newark which would have had to go via London, but I booked it from BHX knowing the aircraft type was changing (before even the cargo reservation dept knew). It's this type of knowledge which gives smaller Agents the edge against the big ones.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
