Whenever England return, they will not necessarily fly to BHX. They use BHX to fly out because they have been based at St George's Park prior to leaving for foreign matches, or tournaments.
Having said that, it is always nice to see Virgin and especially the A350-1000.

Posted on the other forum that Turkish have eleven A330 flights over Christmas and the New year period including two on the 15th December. Additionally there are five planned for February half term.

Suggested it's a consequence of the end of PIA flights from BHX and the subsequent code share with Turkish from Istanbul to Pakistan.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I understand on a European route the same Turkish crew will operate the return leg to IST. This makes it possible for last minute equipment changes.

BHX does very well during the holidays so every chance one of A330 upgrades changing to a 77W.

Now if only we could fill the services outside peak times to move to year round double daily...

England team arrive back 18.40E from Doha. Titan A321 G-POWT ZT242. Info from FR24.

Further to the above, it is an A321 232neo, so possibly a first visit to BHX?. It has positioned in from Dubai.

Do you think if we had won, BHX would have been their homecoming destination?

Hopefully, Bellingham will take a whiff of the fine Brummie air get all homesick, and rejoin the Blues on a free transfer.

Alas, I bet like the World Cup, he's not coming home.

Alpine Air Beech 1900D (N202UX) is due from Belgrade (BEG) tomorrow at 12:38, before departing to Reykjavik at 13:30. Looking at the aircraft history on FR24, it started it's journey in Johannesburg (HLA) on the 11 Dec.

Just watched on FR24, a Royal Canadian Air Force Airbus CC-150 Polaris (A310, Reg 15003, Fl No CFC4111 ) land at BHX. It's listed on FR24 as Riga (RIX) to Prestwick (PIK), but showing as 'diverting to BHX').

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
