Is the runway as bumpy as it looks? Those front wheels of those Embraers weren't half bouncing up and down.

The landing was actually very smooth - much smoother than the Ryanair BANG I got on the return leg at LBA (From Dub).

Yes it was bigger than i thought it would be. Is a nice airport to travel through.

Definitely bigger than the once that I visited it. That was before BHD had a terminal and British Midland, with Michael Bishop included as a passenger, took a party of travel agents and press from Manchester to BHD for the handover of S360s to Manx and Loganair. Great to see the airport, but even nicer to fly in a chartered DC-9-15. This was possibly around 1983-1985?

How things change.
