Hi all, I have a really random question.

I remember when I was little, I went on holiday to Crete. this was around 1995-98 at a rough guess.

I clearly remember that there was a Arnold Schwarzenegger statue in his Terminator leather jacket and one red eye. It was in a glass cylinder cabinet in one of the terminals.

I was only about 6 or 7 at the time but really remember it well. Does anyone else remember this or did I completely make it up? Doubt anyone would have any photos?

Just want to prove to my family that i am not crazy and have not made it up!

Thanks

I don’t know if these have been posted on here before –

Gatwick in 2002, before the restrictions on Heathrow-US flights were lifted. This was at a time when several British and American carriers were transitioning their fleets and/or liveries which made for remarkable variety.

Hello there I used to live in redhill Surrey as a young lad and my parent's also used to take me to Gatwick airport and I remember very well the huge life size terminator in the big glass dome cover. And also there used to be a prop aircraft on the roof of the airport and we used to go inside and have a look. We used to go on the shuttle which was like a train that linked the airports I used to love it so much when we used it. Long time ago I'm 36 now. I searched myself for this as so many memories as a kid myself too and this also was one of them. And I'm glad I found this statement good luck buddy

Ps I did bring this up to my mum and dad but they couldn't remember. Looks like I'm not crazy after all. Plus im a terminator fenatic now. I have always loved the film since t2 came out. Thankyou so much

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
