Use this prefix for new threads for Birmingham Airport
We live in South Yorkshire and are flying to Lesbos this summer from BHX. The friends we’re going with have booked to fly from Gatwick, but having used Birmingham a couple of times in recent years I asked them to book us from BHX as I much prefer it to our other alternative for this trip ( MAN).
Anyway, back to my query, we haven’t got full details as yet, but I believe we are flying Thos Cook on a Saturday in September and I was wondering what aircraft they are using on this flight. Presumably a 320 or 321? Would be grateful for any info on the flight if anyone knows.

If its TCX1214/5 Mytilene dept BHX 14:15, arr BHX 22:15, its an A321.

Check in was very polite and efficient. Security would have been also if Mrs F's bag hadn't been rejected. It was only an extra 10 mins or so and even if it took longer I'd much rather them be thorough.

Just in Wetherspoons enjoying a pint of Abbott Ale 👍

Yes mate we were on the Hi Fly A330, bit of a pain being delayed but in the grand scheme of things 2 hours is no big deal. Really comfortable seat and more leg room that I have experienced for a long while. Also the 2-4-2 layout made for a very pleasant experience.

I should point out that the Hi Fly cabin crew were fantastic, maybe a couple of the TUi cabin crew could possibly learn a lesson or two.

There were 189 on board which would have been full if we had travelled on the scheduled 738 but as it was we all had plenty of room 🙂

Loving Puerto Mogan so far 👍

Just got our tickets for our flight to Malta next Thursday looks like we are on Avion Express via Thomas Cooks thats someone I never expected to be on so will be interested to see what they are like, also looking forward to see Malta airport (Luqa ) as it has good reports and has a rich history. Also might catch site of Hi Flys A380 as its Malta based.

We are joining a cruise so I get to have my flying fix and also experience a few places looking forward to Rome particularly the colusium and Naples including Pompeii. That's one of the best things about cruises you get a day to visit different places and maybe return for a longer in future.

Due to fly on MT1908 on the 23rd. Apparently serviced by Avion Express. Apart from hearing about your holiday Rollo, it would be interesting to hear your comments regarding Avion Express.

O.K. I'll try to post about Avion Express if I remember.

Have a great time mate 🙂

I'm already looking for next year but can't decide between Kefalonia and Parga 🤔

If you decide on Kefalonia, consider Fiskardo in the north. It's the only part which wasn't destroyed by the earthquake in the 50's.
Lovely place.

Glad you enjoyed it 🙂

I think we'll end up in Parga next year.

I want to travel with Jet2 again and am up for supporting the new routes 👍

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
