How to upload media to our in-house gallery....

If you click on the "MEDIA" tab at the top of the site and it takes you to the media gallery.

From the media gallery click on the blue "ADD MEDIA" tab and then select a site category, for example the Manchester Gallery.

Once you've done that click the white tab marked "UPLOAD MEDIA" and from there you can take images directly from your laptop/phone etc.

Remember to add photo descriptions along with any other details such as aircraft registrations or place names.

Once you've done all that hit the "SUBMIT" tab.

Your pictures will then go live in the gallery and you'll be able to post them to threads either by using the code from the image page in the media gallery or by selecting the CAMERA icon with the overlay of "Media Gallery Embed" in the posting page.

Once you've done this a couple of times you'll find it easy to do and you'll even be able to submit images almost instantaneously from any device.

Don't forget to add your descriptions as it helps users find your photos in our galleries.

Please note: There maybe a delay before photos submitted go "live" on the gallery as they pass through our moderation queue. We aim to authorise photos within 24 hours but in most cases it will be done within minutes. View our members photography Gallery. If you have waited more than 24 hours please contact a moderator or administrator.

Posting your images in the forum
Once you have completed your upload you can promote your images in the various threads throughout the forum. The easiest way to do this is by clicking on the camera icon when compiling your post.

After clicking on the camera icon, thumbnails of all your images will be displayed where you can select the images you wish to post directly to the forum.

You don't have to but we suggest you write a description underneath the images you post in the forum along with your name or username and host site which is Forums4airports.com.

We are happy for users to use a small watermark if they desire but watermarks must not include other website addresses.

Users who prefer may embed images from other host sites, however, posts containing broken image links will be deleted.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
