[textarea]Eastern announce first Glasgow flights

Eastern Airways is to launch its first international service from Glasgow Airport next month. The airline, which specialises in routes serving the oil and gas industry, will operate three flights a week between Glasgow and Stavanger in Norway starting on September 12.

It already operates services to Stavanger from Aberdeen and Newcastle after first entering the Norwegian market in 2007. The new Glasgow - Stavanger flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with fares starting at £99 one way, including taxes and charges.
