JLR's job cuts are white collar, not blue. Its unlikely to have any impact on cargo to or from JLR. What it might reduce is the JLR bums on Lufthansa seats.
I've been meaning to ask for a while - what do these posts represent? Presumably they arent the only flights operating? Are they a selection of flights that were considered interesting? Or that you happened to take/have a picture of? Or something else?
This was always BHX's worry, partly why they lobbied with Gatwick to designate that as the preferred option (after they'd whittled it down to 3 options (2 at Heathrow, one of which was bonkers, and Gatwick). Mainly for BHX it was the proximity and the knowledge that the low cost airlines had...
Yes - i think i put a review on here at the time. A pleasure, in both directions, and much more convenient for our hotel than Malaga. The only slight faff was that the spanish taxi firm could only collect from the road on the spanish side of the border, meaning a need to walk across an expanse...

Maybe this is right in the short term to try and bring passengers in. But the biggest problem the UK has is that everything, absolutely everything, is assessed on its value to London. Not surprising, given a major worldwide city (though personally I think that's more on its past rather than its...
It's not HS2 - its National Highways, building a link road to take M42 NB traffic to the A45 off the J6 roundabout. Its not exactly a huge diversion currently up to the M42 and back...
