Are these the same marketing gurus that commissioned the TV show? They certainly didn’t come across as professional in that and it’s an industry that demands professionalism and seriousness.
I wouldn’t really give any of them the steam off my… well, you know the expression, but since not voting gives me no grounds to complain I’ve gone for the 2 who seem most pro LBA, the Independent Mayor and my local Tory candidate. Frankly a vote for the others… 😬
Indeed but sadly, until the extension is built, everyone has to funnel/queue through the same corridor along the front on the terminal, its a bottleneck.
Hopefully the new extension, when finally built, will solve this issue.
Actually it’s the ‘piano Keys’ markings which mark the start of the Runway, not the concrete as the beginning is the ‘starter extension’ however, yes14 threshold is higher than 32. Eyes can be deceptive given the undulating terrain. The runway slope at the beginning of 14 is 0.87 down. 32...
I always understood you couldn’t lay asphalt over concrete because they expand and contract at different rates but maybe any engineers could confirm. Hope I’m wrong because lba’s runway currently feels like a cattle grid.

The support given was minor. The aviation sector was asking for furlough to continue as the sector was the only real sector prevented from operating towards the end.
The Government cancelled furlough and many lost their jobs in the industry.
The sector warned the government that it could not be...
Whilst I agree that this is mainly the Government and more specifically Grant Scha!!s fault Ignoring the industry when it stated clearly that it was a unique industry (closed down longer than any other sector), couldn’t be turned back on instantly and requested tailored specific support which...
They’re not Green Freaks, they’re NIMBY’s masquerading as Green Freaks that’s the sad thing and the irony is all they have achieved is in driving the airport to press ahead with the previous plans. Still with an approval for 7m passengers but not in a vastly inferior, eco UNFRIENDLY add on. It’s...
