Not sure if it is too clear from this image, however I agree it does look like some form of conveyor belt.

Very excited to see the new extension operating, I am sure it will look nice when the landscaping is done. People don’t go to the airport for the aesthetics but the convenience of flying. Does anyone have any recent exterior photos of the airport extension?

Looks like 'The Yorkshire Lounge' is being replaced with 'The Avro Lounge' as it is no longer available to book, looks very small and only aimed at light snacks / drinks, with the 1432 Lounge serving full meals.
