NCL yes, but GLA is close to EDI which is 2/3 daily. During my interest in civil aviation (over 60 years) I have seen big changes in the services provided. If there is a down turn, pax numbers drop dramatically but take a lot longer to pick up again eg Covid.

Haven't times changed. When I did my RTW in 2000. I had a full ramp tour and could take as many photos as I wanted.

Just booked a short trip to PMI with Ryanair (Lauda) in the middle of this month. I think that this is quickest I will have flown, after booking. Late flight going out, early flight coming back. Good job I can walk from airport to accommodation.

I don't know what the problem is with the E175s. If they can carry the number of pax booked, then it is more economical for KLM. It is better to have a service that is profitable, than have half empty planes flying around.

I am not saying that it would not be popular with some passengers, but it would it would only be a very small minority. They appear to be making a "song and dance" about it being a great advantage, but how can it be if it only affects very few passengers.

The other issue I noticed, was aircraft queueing whilst waiting for aircraft coming from pier 1 & 2. An Aer Lingus regional ATR had to wait 5 mins to access their stand due to this. That wouldn't have happened if they were going to T1.
