I'll be flying from LBA with Jet2 to Naples in August subject to WW3 and volcanic eruptions.

The Airport has been there for a long time. I don't think they have suddenly become aware of the airport.

I'll be having my day trip to Dublin this week so I'll provide my experience here too.

So they're essentially rebuilding the old terminal, not just refurbishing it?

Surely they have bigger fish to fry these days in Menston with all the house building and associated flood risk. These people drive me mad.

Despite Manchester consistently being ranked as the worst airport in these surveys, it hasn't put off the millions of people who fly from there annually, nor has it affected the range of airlines available. In reality, these studies aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

It doesn't sound legal but I don't think it is fair for us to question the legality of the landing in this setting.
