I see today's paphos flight departed with a delay of 2 hours and 20 minutes. I don't know if it's just myself but recently I've noticed a few of Thomson flights going late from LBA. Doesn't do anything for customer experience and would make me doubt travelling with them again.

Suppose if they did increase size of aircraft it would mean prices will come down (one hopes) I had to travel to Aberdeen last month and it was going to cost £220 return to fly there booking a month in advance or £35 return on train which might take longer but is a no brained.

Just out of curiousity And this is probably already posted in earlier comments but when are we due to Lose the Saab 2000?

Could be wrong but It would appear that Paris CDG isn't bookable for 2018. I knew they announced it for 2017 but can't seem to find it at all ok there website. Has the flight actually gone ahead or been canned before it took off for this year?

Retail, Food & Drink Outlets Thread

If I am correct he is referring to the area just after W H Smith opposite the Premier Lounge, it's been blocked for a period of time and until now I didn't realise what it was going to be used for.

Transporter the remote gates of 10 and 11 do have toilet facilities in there, they are just past gate 11 and are signposted. Granted I understand the frustration with the seating as there is only limited seats inside.

At least we still have Thomson next year, always a nice change to see their aircraft on the ground at LBA compared to usual, Jet2, Monarch and Ryanair. Even with the name change think it will be hard for some of us to no longer call them Thomson. Now all we need is a weekly 787 to Orlando...

Using Leeds Bradford Airport Questions & Reviews

Yes they tend to do. Airbridge 7 is used by KLM morning departure and then it tends to be monarch on airbridge 8 but on some occasions it can be other airlines, with the exception of Ryanair, every time I've seen them parked on the airbridge stand they tend not to use it preferring to use steps...

Makes sense. I was under the impression they were using this area to extend the saltaire bar for additional seating.

I thought that location was going to be part of the saltaire bar to add more seating and space, with a link through to other side?

    Route Development & Rumours

It's just an idea but what if it isn't a case of aircraft availability but the lack of choice when it comes services offered at LBA. When I mean this I don't mean airport facilities, I think the facilities at Leeds would be suited for a connection via Istanbul, the only thing I feel that lets...

Or an A330 or A350. It would be amazing to see one of these On stand at LBA.

Airport Security, Immigration & Border Control

If I recall from my trip a few years ago from Dublin to Leeds, we didn't end up joining the immigration que at Leeds, we were brought through a seperate door that took us into immigration hall and just walked straight around and down to baggage reclaim with no need to stop to have our ID...

    easyJet

Yes it's such a shame to see easyJet go, but instead of looking at what we've lost look at what we've still got or gained. Loganair are still staying with Leeds once there franchise with Flybe comes to an end, sure it might be a PSO route (correct me if I'm wrong but I think it is) but there...

Airport Security, Immigration & Border Control

I read earlier this morning somewhere that if your journey starts at one of the countries in question and you transit through another point (I.E Istanbul - Amsterdam - Leeds) the rules will still apply. It all based on your origin airport it would seem.

Airport Security, Immigration & Border Control

Here's a question though. What if there batteries are lithium? I remember reading somewhere these are meant to go in the cabin of the aircraft in order in the unlikely event of them catching fire or overheating it will be spotted and be able to dealt with quicker than if they were placed in the...

    Ryanair

Nice to see one of the local newspapers is reporting on it it already. Good way to help promote the route http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/15094035.Ryanair_flies_in_with_two_new_routes_from_Leeds_Bradford_Airport/

    What services you are using?

Booked on the BA flight to and from London next month, flying out on 20th and coming back on 25th. Also just booked a return with Jet2 to and from New York in November. Haven't flown from LBA for a few years now so it's gonna be interesting to see what changes have occurred.

    CityJet

How nice would it be if they decided to use this aircraft on a Sunday - Friday to operate a codeshare with Air France to Paris CDG three times a day.... wishful thinking on this one though.
