Another issue to mention is, how much is down to the airport and how nuch is down to airlines constantly late and the ensuing delays - there is no reference to airlines in the article.
I think this is a misleading article: a few minutes cover the first ten airports ( including other large airports) with delays but you don't hear about them. I'm not excusing delays but put putting some perspective on the issue.
Yes, but there is no doubt that on a visit to the UK a Chinese delegation was directed to MAN by the UK government when the delegation was expecting to visit BHX the home at the time of the charters.
The Chinese charters went to MAN in a rather underhand way -- I refer you to the Conservative government at the time. The Chinese were actually going to continue with the charters.
