Whoever presents must stress that this is a MODERNISATION application and not an EXPANSION application. Anyone rejecting this application is effectively supporting a far less green terminal facility!

I personally believe that the 5000 comments are not going to be a massively influential factor in their decision. There are more important factors at play. LCC panel members have already approved expansion to 7m pax pa. No rational individual would/should oppose a more environmentally friendly...

I have previously said that the fact that only 5000 commented suggests the majority of the catchment is not sufficiently aggrieved to complain. I trust LCC will recognise this fact??

Should the worst case scenario happen, it will be interesting to see whether the new CEO will progress the already approved terminal extension. My personal opinion is that some progress is better than no progress.

Well said LY. They are a one trick pony and choose to ignore the huge benefits (including environmental) the approval of the terminal and subsequent parkway station will undoubtedly begin. They are blinkered and self centered individuals. There is currently huge suppressed demand for air travel...

Don't forget the CURRENT closing date for comments on the LCC portal expires on the 4 Feb. A few more days to drum up support comments ! Has the support petition been submitted to LCC, does anyone know?
