Should LCC reject it, I think they will only be delaying the inevitable. I am extremely confident an appeal would prove successful. I am sure LCC will be aware of this despite their IQ.

I totally agree WH. This is an important supporting report which will undoubtedly prove extremely useful in the event of an appeal. I really do hope LCC treat this with the respect it deserves and see sense, assuming their IQ allows it!!!

I was of the opinion the current terminal would be demolished not retained. I also believe the terminal extension approved last year involves a £25m investment. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I assume these LCC councillors are aware they are assessing a terminal modernisation proposal and not an expansion proposal? It seems incredible that these councillors can have any reasonable grounds for objection?? The same can be said for GALBA and the Labour MPs!!!

Excellent contribution. I would be dumbfounded if LBA do not launch an appeal to put the application in front of professionals. These ignorant, self serving local councillors cannot be allowed to ruin people's livelihoods. The aviation industry is on its knees. If there was ever a time to assist...
