There is a NOTAM stating E9-E10 is closed until 7th August, is this for the extended dual taxiway operation? Therefore the dual taxiway will extend passed pier 2 beyond this date?

I also notice T1 signs still present at the station and outside of T2 arrivals.

Been very quiet on this thread for a while now…not much going on in T2, everything seems to have been stopped while it looks like T3 is the priority. Just a shame they couldn’t finish T2 before the peak summer.

First time using T2 for 18 months departed on Thursday 4th June for a 2.30pm departure, arrived at 11.30am bag drop and through security east in 15 mins, in the departure area having a coffee from Pret by 11.45am! Very efficient despite the busy baggage drop off but security east was quiet...

I’m putting together an email in general about this state of affairs with regards to the drop off situation at T2 and will also include this example. There’s of course no guarantees, but I hope it changes something!

Hello, Last time I was on the lower level of T2 (a few weeks ago) there were trolleys available but not where the taxis drop you off, there are near the arrivals exits around 100 yards walk away. There are lifts nearby to the check in but I appreciate it would be difficult to navigate upstairs...

@marni1971 thanks for the video. Is this new MSCP intended to replace an existing car park(s)? The car parks on the 23R approach and next to the fire service training area look abandoned now...will they no longer be used anymore?

I visited the airport today and was amazed at the sheer size of the new drop & go car park! Is this intended to replace or compliment existing nearby car parks? I notice most of the car parks near 23R approach and near the fire station aren’t very full and looked partially abandoned... I must...

Does that also mean the whole road leading up to the airport pub has finally been resurfaced?
