Upper class from BOS could be struggling a little. Quite a lot of fares for £1000 which is cheaper than PE on most flights. For business class £1000 is an absolute bargain.

Slot wise your using one pair of slots to serve two destinations so that could be seen as more beneficial if PVG is super constrained. It could be they are waiting on or even have ARN slots so no need for EDI slots to be requested.

PE is not being droppped. PE is classed in th Y code for some reason so that's why. It is in fact being improved with the new 'wonderwall' being added to bring in line with the 787.

I don't think IAH will start from Scotland anytime soon, the oil downturn won't help a business case. Even so it's a 2.30hr journey from ABZ to GLA/EDI you'd be quicker using LHR. DL on BOS is unlikely as they don't have a large TX presence from there, JetBlue/Norwegian are the most likely...
