SPD Travels on X did add "but likely just hedging which slots to use and expected to be 4-7 weekly".

Manchester: Spotting Movements Log & Heads Up

What struck me about those Wednesday figures was the wider than normal gap between Ryanair at 167 (incl. Lauda), and easyjet at 93 (incl. ITA). Even on Tuesday - the other quieter day - easyjet was >100. Jet2 are always well down on Tuesday/Wednesday.

    Manchester: CAA Provisional Statistics Update

MAN don't seem to be rushing to get their March stats out. Mind you, it's also the financial year end for MAG so I imagine they want to be sure the data is correct. I wouldn't hazard a guess as to how the March passenger figures will look. On the one hand the war; on the other the beginning...

Is that the first time we've hit 600 movements for a while?

You do a remarkable job Scottie with these logs so you are allowed the occasional omission of a solitary diversion.:) I happened to see it on FR24 and it appeared on MAN arrivals. But was it Saturday and was it EDI-CDG? How this senior's memory fades!

There was 1 diversion, I think Saturday morning, when an easyjet EDI-CDG arrived about 08.00. Not sure whether it was a technical or medical diversion, but it happened in what was quite a busy period anyway with a Virgin flight doing about 3 circuits at Mirsi as a result.

A good start to the year with pax up 5.22% Interesting that domestic increased 10%. I guess Southanpton and Exeter will have contributed to that. Freight doing well too.

    Manchester: Route Development & Rumours

SPD Travels on X has posted that Emirates have withdrawn slots for a 4th daily. I think 31 January was hand back date. With QR going back to 3 x daily fom 24 weekly, and EY sticking at 15 x weekly, this is disappointing from the MEB3. QR had initially applied for slots for up to 4 x daily and...

re the ME upgrades: As far as I know, Etihad is still showing 15 x weekly but maybe their summer schedules haven't been finalised. (initial slots 21 x weekly). But up on last summer. Qatar slots for 4 daily but were expected to increase slightly from 24 to 25 x weekly. It seems they are back...

If they start, at least MAN will have something new on long haul. Rather disappointing otherwise compared to what was expected / hoped for, not to mention the demise of EIUK.

Manchester: Cathay Pacific News & Flight Discussion

When I checked a couple of days in June, that was showing as an A359. 2 dates in May gave the B773. Sample dates in Sept/Oct/Nov still showing the A359. Hopefully, the web site has still to be updated. Otherwise, use of the 773 may be short lived. However, SPD Travels is a very reliable...

Yes, and I've just read Scottie's note. At least it was 15 up on the same Tuesday last year, about 5%.

Golly, that's 42 less than last Tuesday. Just 7 movements for Jet2.

Manchester: Spotting Movements Log & Heads Up

Was it Sunday 4th Jan or 28 Dec. that CW said would be one of the 2 busiest days over the Christmas/New Year period. The other was Friday 19 Dec. as I recall. Interesting that without 44 cancellations yesterday, movements would have only just been 2 short of 600. Hope your 6% increase holds up...

I think LPL was closed for snow clearance as we've just taken a Jet 2 divert. An EI prop diverted from LPL to LBA.
