While the A321 were BRS based First choice merged with Thomson. The airline named in the end to TUI. Thomson liked the Boing range of aircraft and the A321 that was in BRS got changed over to the B757,also the first choice A320 aircraft got moved out the fleet like the A321,that was the reason...
I see 2 rotations due Thursday 23rd. EI3280 from Dublin due 07.45. The other is EI3842 due12.20 from Cork. This is provided these flights not cancelled.
With transport firm Stobarts due to go under this week. I wonder how it will affect the airports they operate and also the airline.Im not sure if they are all classed as one or split into divisions.
BAC 1-11 were used on the Dub route for quite some time. They also used SH360 as well, then the FK50 till they pulled the route.The reason the route was pulled as Ryanair started a service. Ryanair had the Dublin route all to their selves till Air lingus started again with 1 rotation per day...
Reports on tv this morning tolls on the severn bridges will be scrapped next year.That will help airport as well as firms that has bases in wales. Every little helps.
with the possible 4th rotation on certain days,is this in responce in stobart stopping cwl rotations till at least march next year. posters on another forum not happy,with some saying back to brs.
it looks like stobart basing in snn again. what does any one think about if we get that route back. i think the loads were ok. just pulled last time as they pulled the based unit out of there.
on the driede plum forum, they are saying all EIR flts out of snn are ending on the 5th of january.
has anyone heard anything. there is no link on the other forum to verify this is happening.
