I just wished Leeds seriously considered a new airport at Stourton... Excellent transport links, plenty of room for car parks, rail stations etc. We'd have some beast airlines coming in then !! I'm sure LBA could become BRA overnight quite easily.

If only they'd have bought the holiday complex when it shut down to create a higher capcity airport, this would have easily florished as a decent terminal. I feel sorry for all those in North west having to now travel as much as 2/3 hours just to get a flight.

Just wished we could attract an international airline such as United Airlines for flights to the states... That would really be a significant step for the airport.

That's the thing I love about Amsterdam, the viewing point on the roof is awesome...great to go have a coffee or a pint before your flight and sit and watch.... make sure you don't turn up your gate with only 5 mins to spare like i did !! :)

Official Viewing Park? From reading various threads on here I see a few work in or around LBIA. Does anyone know if there are any plans to build an official viewing area of aircraft (something like they have at Manchester but obviously not that size). Think it would certainly be busy and...

I think the trouble is people use them for astronomy these days which indirectly means they are shining the lasers in the sky... Most common sensed people who own one know not to point them at any form of aircraft...No doubt the people in question will be of the young variety with nothing...

As you appear to work for Jet2, forgetting long haul for a minute, would there be any scope to re-opening the sharm flights any time soon?

One thing that really annoys me about LBA is there's no FREE sit and wait area for returning passengers. Amount of times I go to pick up family and get chased away by security guards is disgusting... I recognize there is a threat with all terrorist actions etc. but LBA are using it as a cash...

What's deal with MF, are they sealing it off so you can't enjoy Murgatroyd's there anymore ?
