Like you say business travellers, would probably prefer to travel by air

When you go with BA, you pick your flight and time
You have compared an open return for the train which is a lot more expensive
You can actually book for the end of February at peak times on the train, for so much less if you specify the time...

However I notice that sometimes plane finder can be slightly out

I have seen the Air France A380 a number of times coming over Leeds
Also Lufthansa ones occasionally
They do look very big even at high altitude
You saw this looking low and I didn't so I can't say if it was normal
