Thanks @Jetsco Do you know what the increase in Virgin's frequency amounted to (presumably it's not happening this year given it's still on sale at twice-weekly)? Is there any mention of the rumoured Indian or Ethiopian services?
Any reasonable expectations for what 2024 may bring (beyond things already announced)? Some more capacity to the Middle East? An Indian or additional Asian destination? Some more based Ryanair? The year could also see growth at GLA outstripping EDI (especially if Ryanair reopen a base at GLA)...

Often wondered if a SIN-EDI-IAH route might work, given that it might be attractive to oil-related folks at the southern part of Aberdeen/shire. A United codeshare might help for US-originating traffic too. (All speculation on my part).
Unless I'm missing something, nobody has mentioned Amritsar as a potential EDI Indian route. What's the basis for your assumption that it would be?

Had thought the 'spice' comment referred to SpiceJet who are rumoured to be planning to serve MAN/BHX with an A340. But if it's AI instead then presumably a 787 could reach India direct from EDI given Hainan used one to reach PEK ok.
No doubt it is. But there'll be plenty of India's burgeoning...
